Nothing too new here.....it's just been cold and quiet. We're not looking forward to the next few days - we don't care for these "below zero" temps and heavy snow storms that are coming. We do however love a White Christmas!

It's Snowing (Finally)
It's snowing .... and it's about time!
Today's project was another lesson in patience...but I think they turned out pretty well. These are cupcakes decorated to look like ornaments.

Gingerbread Houses
Okay .... when someone wants $60 for a gingerbread house - I finally understand! And those $10 make-it-yourself kits at the store are probably worth every penny!
I can't remember the last time a project took me 8 hours. I wanted something cute to match the decor in the store and it looks great nestled in with the christmas display.

Our New Blog......
Hello and Welcome.
In todays world it's supposed to be cool to have a Blog - so here we are (of course we want to be cool)!
At this point, I'm not too sure how much will be happening here. When something fun is going on, or if we have something new to share with friends and customers, this is where we'll put it.
Right now we're busy keeping the store stocked with holiday items. Blenderz started out as a Smoothie and Bubble Tea shop but quickly expanded to much more. I guess it was a good idea to add "& More" to our name! Friends and family convinced me to add my cakes, cookies, and confections to the shelves of the store and that has really kept me busy since the summer tourists have gone back home.
Erika (my oldest daughter) and I spent most of Thanksgiving Day at the store mixing, baking, packaging and labeling for "Hot Friday" here in Chelan. While it was quiet most of the day it was a nice feeling to have holiday decorations up and the shelves full again. Now if it would just look like winter outside too! I am definately a 4 seasons person - and I can't wait for snow!
