Spring is here....
It's so nice to see the sunshine, even if it is just a little each day! The bulbs are all shooting up and the flowers are so beautiful.
We've been experimenting with some new creations just in time for Easter....one of which is to die for...WHOOPIE PIES. For now we just have Chocolate with Vanilla filling but soon we'll be trying other combinations like Red Velvet with Cream Cheese, Pumpkin with Cream Cheese, and others.
We've also added to our line of homemade doggy treats. Besides our regular Nutty Bones and Snickerpoodles we have a new Beefy Cheddar Bites. Our next endeavor will be Pupcakes, which will be special mini cupcakes for dogs.

One Year Anniversary Celebration
Hello everyone...
It's unbelievable that we've been open for a year. It seems like just yesterday that we were putting the paint on the floor and trying to get the ice machine to work!
We'll be having specials all week (3/10-3/14), beginning with "Twisted Tuesday". For every one of our gourmet filled pretzels that you buy, you'll get the second one FREE! If you've never seen our pretzels - check them out at http://www.youtube.com/user/kimandscotts . With great flavors like Grilled Cheese, Mozzerella Pizza, Jalapeno Cheddar, and Savory Herb & Cream Cheese, we're sure that you'll find one that suits your tastebuds. And before summer we'll have even more flavors to choose from.
Check the website each day next week to see what the special is for that day....and on Saturday there will be FREE cake and ice cream for all to enjoy.
Hope to see you soon.

We made it through Valentine's Day....
We had a very busy couple of days and boy was it fun! I must say I was very happy to put all the heart cutters, pans, and paper away.
My favorite creation for the weekend was a simple Strawberry Cake with a filling of Whipped Cream and Strawberries....my mouth watered the whole time I was making it. (I'll admit it, I snacked on a couple of the extra strawberries after it was finished.) The customer almost forgot to pick it up.....I was kinda disappointed when she showed up right at closing time.

My challenge for this week was to put out a new display cake. I've had several customers ask about "plain and simple" wedding cakes, so that's what I decided to make. Working with styrofoam cake dummies, as opposed to real cake, is a lot harder than it looks. After two days of fighting a cold AND round styrofoam this is the finished product.

February Fun with Cookies
Wow....it's almost Valentines Day. The weather is getting a little better and people are starting to move around a little more!

We started taking orders for V-Day cookies last week and are getting prepared for the big baking days coming up! We even had one jumbo cookie picked up yesterday since the customer's hubby will be out of town all next week and weekend - she's going to pack the cookie in his suitcase (hopefully he's not flying to his destination!!!).

We're also gearing up for wedding season. We provided cookies and cupcakes to a local florist who put them in her display during a recent bridal show. The theme was "black and white" and I think they turned out pretty cute.
